About Me

Writer and director with a background in visual language and training in collaboration. As a filmmaker I seek to explore the ways that people navigate tumultuous times in their lives.

Coming from a bi-racial background, my works often explore diverse identities and involve collaboration with other BIPOC artists. International cinema has greatly inspired most of my projects, especially French and Taiwanese cinema of the 1950s and 1960s. In this vein, my films often seek to foster ambiguous feelings somewhere between joy and melancholy set within a modern lens.
